About Palmer Mason
Palmer Mason has been playing golf since age 5. An accomplished Junior Golfer in South Carolina, Palmer played college golf at Charleston Southern University from 2020-2024. Palmer graduated Charleston Southern with a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
Palmer grew up around the game of golf and is passing his knowledge of the game we all love to golfers of all skill levels. Palmer became a PGA Associate in 2024.
Palmer has assisted with PGA Junior League, Men's, Women's, and Junior Golf Clinics and Camps at The Par Tee Golf Center and worked at The University of Georgia Golf Camp for two summers.
Palmer teaches strong fundamentals and strives to make learning a fun experience for the student. Palmer works with golfers of all skill levels and will help you improve your game.
Palmer is also a certified club fitter and conducts demo days frequently at The Par Tee Golf Center.
Adding Technology to Instruction and Club Fitting
Palmer use video analysis with most lessons. The Video, Swing Profile Professional Golf App is used to analyze the players swing and compare it to the swing of a PGA or LPGA Tour Professional.
The Instructional team at The Par Tee DOES NOT teach a system – INSTEAD we use the player's physical abilities to help tailor a swing that “fits the player.” For better players and club fittings, The Par Tee Golf Center uses Flightscope & FullSwing Technology to achieve the best results possible.

About Tom Mason
Our driving range offers a serene environment for practicing your swing. With 50 hitting stations and multiple targets, you'll be able to focus on your game and enjoy the natural beauty around you.
Lessons
Lessons are offered by appointment from PGA Professional, Tom Mason. Upon graduating from The University of South Carolina in May of 1993, Tom began his career in Golf. Tom has 28 years of instructional experience and has been a Class A PGA member since 1996. Tom has been very active as a Board Member of the Carolinas PGA Section and has served as Tournament Director, Vice-President, and President of the South Carolina PGA Chapter. Tom served on the Carolinas PGA Board of Directors as the Area II Director and is also the Golf Coach for the Columbia College Koalas.
Tom makes instruction fun and simple and preaches basic, sound, fundamentals that are necessary to execute a proper golf swing. Tom believes a proper grip, correct alignment, repeatable tempo, and a balanced set-up are the essential tools for building the foundation that helps create a solid golf swing. Each person’s swing is unique and Tom will help golfers of any age or ability improve his or her ball striking skills. Tom will provide professional instruction on all aspects of the game from tee to green. Whether you want to learn how to hit your driver longer and straighter, zero in on more precise iron shots, or improve any part of your short game, Tom will formulate a lesson plan to help you achieve your goals.
A personalized lesson or a customized series of lessons from Tom Mason will lead to lower scores for a golfer of any skill level, inevitably increasing enjoyment of the game. Tom works with beginners or the seasoned veteran and will do individual lessons for Men, Women and Juniors.
