We Give You The Best Turf, Balls and Short Game Facilities in Columbia, SC
The Driving Range at The Par Tee Golf Center features the largest natural grass hitting area in the Greater Columbia area. we have 100 ALL GRASS HITTING AREAS. From April until November, our tee box is covered by plush Bermuda grass. From Mid-November to the End of March, as the weather stays cooler, we maintain our beautiful turf by overseeding the teeing area with rye grass. If natural grass isn’t your cup of tea, we have artificial turf hitting mats for you to enjoy.
While enjoying the picturesque views at The Par Tee Driving Range, you will be able to see your practice balls fly to depths of well over 300 yards. Unlike other practice facilities in Columbia, you won’t have to worry about losing sight of your ball’s flight. The landing area is flat and features many targets that allow you to work on precise distance and direction with every club in your bag. Unless you are a long-drive champion, you will be able to see your ball until it comes to rest.
If you don't have golf clubs or you are visiting from out of town, The Par Tee Golf Center offers COMPLIMENTARY use of clubs. Most of the Complimentary Clubs available are irons. Unfortunately, over the past 2 years, our breakage rate with Drivers and Fairways has been out of control. Drivers may be rented for $5.00, however, we must charge if damage is done to the club. We have right hand and left hand, ladies and junior clubs available for you to use free of charge.
A 6000 Square Foot Putting Green Sharpens The Short Game Too !!!
Included free of charge for all our paying range patrons is access to our Short Game Plateau. The Short Game Plateau features a 6000 square foot Mini Verde bermudagrass putting surface. The green is mowed daily basis. You are also able to chip around the green or hit bunker shots out of our practice bunker. The Short Game Plateau is the perfect place to finish off your practice session after you are done hitting balls at The Par Tee.

Our range is fully lighted, so you will be able to perfect your swing even after the sun goes down. Lights are turned on, especially during the fall and winter months, business permitting. Our Short Game Plateau is lighted as well. You can start practicing the full swing in the light and putt in the dark. .
